On top of their complete happiness, they’re such an easy-to-pose couple!  Extremely photogenic couples like this make my task so easy!!!

On a completely different note is this sweet, sad moment.  Jessica’s father passed away last year.  And, in this photo of Lance dancing with his mom, in the background is Jess’s mom wiping her tears away.

Ah, Jess and Lance, what an amazing day you had!  I really hope you love your images!  We feel so blessed to have been the ones to capture the emotional beauty that was your day.  Thank you for the privilege!!  -Kevin and Jen

The rain started about an hour before the ceremony – just as we were ready to go outside to take photos.  So, plans changed.  And, when we had a brief respite, the bride, her parents, and I booked out to this spot for some bridal portraits.

Clear umbrellas?  Yes, please!  The rain started again at the end of the ceremony.

As rain clears, it leaves the most beautiful light!!  These were taken facing the sun, with no light amendments, except the clouds.

Even backed up to the sun, after the clouds cleared, the light was amazing!

And, you can’t get skies like this on a clear day.  Just fantastic!!

What a fantastic day!!  Cliff and Sara, it was an absolute honor to photograph your wedding.  Thank you!

I had them back into the taller grass for a photo.  I went with a wide angle:

While Kevin went with a  close up.  I couldn’t pick just one, so I included them both.

I love the anticipation of this image!

Mary’s family farm is very close to Letchworth State Park, with stunning valley vistas all around.  We ventured into the newly cut hay field for some bridal party images.

And, then to a neighbor’s home for a few more:

The barn was beautiful and perfect for a wedding!

This was a fun little experiment.  We have a lens called a “Lensbaby” that makes one focal spot and everything else out of focus.  Paired with a flash, it creates these little flare rainbows.  Just a fun addition to their photos.

Their reception was in another barn.  I loved the backdrop it provided for their dancing:
